20th Century Boys, Band 1 - Naoki Urasawa, 浦沢 直樹

This review refers to the entire series. I really liked it at the beginning, thinking that it was a really interesting commentary on children's stories, the uses of imagination, and (of course) friendship, with deconstructive elements. But as it went along, it lost its deconstructive nature and became more and more sentimental. It did remain entertaining, though. And the artistic nature of the drawing and layout is impeccable.
